Motion Study
A character-driven 2D animated short built entirely solo in one week — animation, custom foley sound design, and final cinematographic edit — grounded in the 12 classical principles of animation.
Bring a single animated scenario to life with full technical and aesthetic control: convincing weight, timing, and personality in the character's motion, matched with original foley sound and a polished cinematic edit — all within a one-week solo production window.
Animated the full scenario frame-by-frame, deliberately applying the 12 principles of animation - timing, ease-in/ease-out, arcs, anticipation, squash and stretch, follow-through, staging, and appeal; to sell weight and realism in every movement. Designed and recorded custom foley effects to sync with the action, then composited and edited the final piece using cinematography and editing techniques to shape it into a cohesive short film.
Delivered a fully finished animated short; animation, sound design, and edit. Demonstrating command of the complete 2D animation pipeline from raw motion to final cut, executed independently in one week.
